Showcase Details

“Into a Kaleidoscope” is a showcase organized by the Integrative Arts program at the York University School of Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD). The showcase features a selection of artwork by students in the Integrative Arts program, along with their peers from across AMPD. The showcase has been collaboratively organized by first-year students in the PANF 1510 Creative Methodologies class. You will see their artwork, curation, audience engagement initiatives, documentation, and event support throughout the event. The showcase website features individual pages for each artist showing work a the event. Throughout the exhibition, you will be able to follow QR codes under individual art pieces to learn more about the artist and the intention behind their work. Please use your phone to open the QR codes (this can be done through the camera app). You can also follow the Integrative Arts Instagram page at @integrativeartsyorku for live updates of the event. After the event, the website will be updated with documentation of the artists, their projects, and the event. There is also a map of the space shown below.


Event schedule: 

5-6pm: Stilt walking, ambient noise, art, food & BINGO

6-7:30pm: Performances & Open Mic

7:30-8:30pm: Mingling, more art, feedback discussion, possible dance party...
